Why have you become a trainer:I became a trainer to help change lives! Spent years watching people train the wrong way day after day, reading about obesity #'s rising, and the way Americans are becoming unhealthier year after year. I always wanted to make a difference in life, so this is my way to make a difference one client at a time. That is the most satisfying aspect of what I do!
What is your training style:I take an approach focusing on a total body program. I always use the analogy about building a house. You need level ground, then a solid foundation, once that you can build the dream house!! I have a bodybuilding and power lifting background so this approach to fitness is something we never thought about in the past. Changing times require changing philosophies.
In general, please describe your experience:My business' focus is mobile personal training and outdoor bootcamp style group classes. My background is in strength and agility training so with my atheltic knowledge and training this is a perfect fit! I have trained with Strongmen, Powerlifters, and bodybuilders, competed in several powerlifting competitions in the mid 90's. I also have supplemented my education experience with pre/post-natal, older adult, and youth fitness training.
