What is your training style:

My style is to be supportive of each client and their individual needs while they create their goals. Then, in a comfortable environment, I provide clients of all ages (currently between 11-87 years old) with the workouts they need to achieve their goals. My company, Wellness by Design offers both private and shared sessions in Personal Training, Pilates and Yoga. It is my belief that everyone deserves to be healthy, fit and energetic in all phases of life.

What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience:

I help each client in the design of a program to reach their wellness goals, not just fitness goals. My approach to Wellness is educational, motivational and fun. It is most important that clients learn the skills to navigate through a world filled with super sized portions, decreased physical activity and higher levels of stress. By learning how to shop, eat, get active and aliviate stressors, you can achieve your goals. It is crucial to address nutrition, fitness and your lifestyle.

How would you help an overweight client lose weight:

These days, 90% of my clients are looking to "lose weight." We begin by realizing that making that statement sets you up for failure. It is time to change your lifestyle, so that you will become leaner, stronger and full of energy. By focusing on what you want to become, you can begin the journey. Each goal we set will have specific actions to achieve it. I will create a Meal Plan for you that is based on foods you like, without supplements or gimmicks. You will achieve a lean and fit body!
