What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:

Actually 2 things I see all the time, form and intensity. The majority of people have terrible form and don't get as much out of the exercise as they would with the correct form. People either work out at a very high intensity and burn themselves out or just go through the motions and don't see any results. There needs to be a happy medium, challenge yourself but don't hurt yourself wear yourself out. You'll have more energy and be inclined to stick with it.

What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:

The latest trends talk a lot about core and balance training. It may be the new trend but it's been around since the beginning of weight training. I incorporate core and balance training into my workouts. You really are only as strong as your core, it's what supports every movement you make, in the gym and in real life. You are stronger and less prone to injury with a strong core and good balance.

Why should a client train with you:

My first concern is safety. I always have the client complete a health questionnaire which I review with them. I also take their blood pressure and if I'm not familiar with their specific limitations I'll research it and get doctors approvals as well as recommendations. Then I'll design a workout to fit their level fitness as well as their goals. They have my full attention throughout the workout, I monitor their level of effort and fatigue and adjust accordingly.
