Why have you become a trainer:I am addicted to physical fitness and I love sharing my passion for exercise with others. Personal training is a very rewarding job and it's a great feeling knowing that you are making someone's life better. I believe that you must work to live and the better shape your in the better you can handle the trials and tribulations of life.
What is your training style:I'm a versatile trainer and every client has different goals as well as different personalities, so my "style" depends on the individual and their goals. However, Jack LaLanne is my idol and I pretty much share his spirit and philosophy towards exercise. And as he says "Nutrition is queen, exercise is king. Put them together and you have a kingdom."
In general, please describe your experience:One year as a certified professional, but many years of training in all aspects of exercise and fitness. I studied kinesiology and some nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I then got into cycling and became a professional bicycle messenger and raced for three years. I'm now a full time trainer and I'm heavily into Capoeira, a unique Brazilian martial art. My biggest achievement so far is helping obese woman lose 60 pounds in 6 months and dramatically improve her health.
