What do you think about the latest trends in the fitness industry:The fitness industry is always evolving. The strongest trend that I have seen is moving into the medical model. More trainers and education are working with the population with health problems. The practice is called disease management and this takes highly skilled professionals that work with the medical community to change lifestyle and habits to reduce medical costs and enhance quality of living.
What other skills do you bring to the table besides your training experience:I am a registered Kinesiotherapist and psychology is a strong part of my clinical training. It helps to affect dealing with how people can change their life. My special training allows me to help people over come their inhibition to activity and deal with the mental aspect of why it is important to improve their quality of life with exercise and lifestyle change.I bring a more analytical approach to training.
Why should a client train with you:I can help a client understand and adopt a more proactive change to their life. The results that come from my approach to training are results that last long even after the person is done with their sessions. When a client comes to my services they get a person who cares about their health and wellness and their wellness program becomes more than exercise it becomes a healthy lifestyle approach. If they are dealing with a disease or disability we will restore that disability and improve the disease.
