What in your opinion is the biggest mistake people make while working out:I believe that the biggest mistake people make while working out is expecting too much too quick. The client who understands that adherence over time is what makes the drastic results happen are most always happier than clients that want it all right now. A well thought out game plan that factors in some sense of reality has to be the base. Only after that can change occur that can last a lifetime. After all, a change of lifestyle is what we're working towards.
Do you think a personal trainer should be also a good salesman:I belive that while a trainer should be able to sell his/her services to a prospective client, all the trainer is doing is explaining what fitness can do for the client. Fitness always sells itself. Our job as trainers is to convey to the general public the effects of a healthy lifestyle in their lives. This means not only physically but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Beyond that, the rest is just details.
Why should a client train with you:I take a no nonsense approach to training clients. I factor in all of the wants, needs and abilities of the client to build a comprehensive program that systematically produces results. My main focus is health. If a person is healthy, the great looks follow. The goal of any trainer should be to take care that the client stays healthy and safe. Only when this is achieved can a realistic program be laid out that can be adhered to. After that progress can be made.
